When will new work be available?

My shop is updated monthly! 

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! If you live in the Portland area use code FREELOCALPICKUP at checkout to remove shipping costs. I will be in touch to schedule a pickup at my studio, typically available 9a-5p mon-fri.

Can I shop your work in person?

If you love a studio visit as much as I do, reach out and we can schedule a time for you to shop my current inventory in person!

Are your products food safe?

All items are food safe unless otherwise noted.

How do I properly care for my new ceramic piece?

Work by Carina Kooiman Studio is make from sturdy porcelain and stoneware and is meant for everyday use. That said, all pieces should be handled with care. Load dishwashers carefully to avoid dishes rattling against each other and avoid tall towers of dishes in the sink :) Due to the slightly porous nature of clay some sweating may occur, be conscious of this when placing items on moisture sensitive surfaces.

Jewelry should be removed before showers and swimming, and should not be cleaned with harsh chemicals. Take care when removing jewelry over hard surfaces such as tile and concrete. Unglazed clay may show dirt overtime, wash gently with clear soap.

Where do you ship?

I currently am limiting shipping to the States, though I hope to explore international shipping in the near future.

Can I commission custom work?

At this moment I have hit the pause button on commissioned work to focus on getting the shop up and running.
